Over the past 2 decades, I have established a reputation as an award-winning textile & mixed media artist in the world of art quilting. I developed a unique creative process melding texture and flowing line.  My artwork gives voice to my deepest thoughts and feelings as they relate to nature and my spiritual being. The diverse results, while strongly connected in design and style, offer a wide audience appeal.

With an experimental approach to the use of textiles, my stitched tapestry-like works are informed by the individually prepared collage materials.  These are made of unusual things – painted Tyvek and fusible web, heat-altered chiffons and satins, even handmade silk paper. Tooled metals are applied with a combination of surface design techniques to portray the overall sense of each piece.  In addition, the incorporation of intense stitching offers balance in free flowing shapes.

While each piece is unique, my textile work presents with a clear ‘essence’ and a joyous creative spirit!
