Tweed’s Front Porch Ruckus is returning Sat. June 28th, 1-4 pm! Always a great afternoon of family-friendly free music with porches/venues and musicians participating throughout the village. There usually is an after-party featuring several of the bands starting at 4 pm at the Legion. The Arts Council is taking on organization of the Ruckus as Tweed Music Festivals has wrapped up; we appreciate the remarkable foundation that they have built since the first event in 2018, and the support their team is providing as we learn the ropes!

Sign Up as a Musician or Offer Your Porch

The Front Porch Ruckus is run entirely by volunteers – organizers, the musicians and porches!  If you would like to participate by performing and/or hosting on your porch or stage, please fill out this form (download Word or pdf versions) to provide us with some essential details, and email it to tweedruckus@gmail.com . It would be greatly appreciated if you signup as soon as possible, but the registration period closes on Sat. June 7.

• Performers don’t need a porch to sign up…we can link you up!
• Porch hosts don’t need to provide performers…we can connect you!
• If you have both a porch and performer(s) to offer… we can accommodate that too!
• A ‘porch’ can be just that…or an indoor/outdoor stage, front lawns, driveways, backyards accessible from an alleyway etc.

Sponsorship

Would you like to sponsor this year’s Ruckus? Sponsorship helps offset costs related to advertising, printing, and miscellaneous expenses.  Sponsors are identified on our web page, social media, posters/map and in shout-outs at the event. Your support may be monetary, products, discounts on your service or…something we haven’t thought of yet! Take a look at our Sponsorship Form for more information, and email it to us or call the number on the form. Feel good knowing that you are supporting an event that has been well attended and enjoyed by many local residents and visitors since 2018.
