Summer Arts & Culture Scene in Tweed!
The Arts Council has lots planned as we head into summer and fall 2026. More details /links for these and other arts & culture events/activities for the year are available on our online event calendar.
Tweed’s Front Porch Ruckus Sat. June 27

Our second year organizing Tweed’s Front Porch Ruckus on Sat. June 27th was a success; the afternoon of family-friendly free music, featured 23 performers at 19 porches/venues participating throughout the village. This year we had two ‘afterparties:’ 1) at the Legion with ‘Break the Night’ – though Mother Nature did not cooperate, ‘raining it out’ and 2) at the Cube Coffee Bar, featuring multiple performers, Thai finger foods and signature cocktails. We thank everyone who joined as a musician / porch host, sponsor or volunteer; see you in 2027! An initial set of pics is available on posts on our Facebook page, including some by Heather Cardle.
In Conversation with Artists – Mark Robinson

Our ‘In Conversation with Artists’ series for June to September features Madoc painter Mark Robinson. Every few months the work of a featured artist is displayed in various venues throughout Tweed: the Tweed Public Library, the Marble Arts Centre atrium, and Quinn’s of Tweed Fine Art Gallery. Go to the T&AAC website where you can find a ‘news’ blog post and link to a video of Mark in conversation about their work and inspiration on T&AAC’s YouTube channel.
