Tweed Peace Pole: Dedication Ceremony and Concert for Peace

The Tweed Peace Pole is the first initiative of the Tweed Peace Project. Planted in our waterfront Memorial Park, it will stand as a symbol of unity, hope, and our shared commitment to peace—at home and in the world. The Peace Pole has been sculpted by local artist Paul Shier. The dedication ceremony takes place Sat. Sept. 20 at 12 noon, followed by a free concert for peace at the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage from 2 to 5 pm.
