Tweed & Area Historical Society: ‘My Grandmother’s Quilt / Art Sale @ Tweed & Area Heritage Centre

In January The Heritage Centre will welcome visitors to Memorial Hall to view ‘My Grandmother’s Quilt’. This very beloved and beautiful Quilt won a ribbon in 1905 at Madoc Fair. Come and see the history of this quilt. For the months of January and February there will be a display in Memorial Hall of some beautiful pieces from the art collection that are for sale.

You can also visit the Heritage Centre to view their displays or conduct research. No charge, but donations gratefully received. The Centre’s hours have recently changed, please check their Facebook page or give them a call at (613) 478-3989 to confirm. They also have a new website!
