Art in the Park Returns Aug. 3, Featuring Roast Beef on a Bun Lunch and Tribute to Audrey Ross!

The Tweed & Area Arts Council are pleased to again host ‘Art in the Park’ Saturday August 3, 2024 at Tweed Memorial Park!  Art in the Park has free admission, and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• More than 45 Artists & Artisans
• Children’s Art Area
• Live Music
• Student Art Exhibit

We are ‘keeping it local’ for lunch- the Arts Council is partnering with Palmateer’s Meats to serve delicious roast beef on a bun with coleslaw, water and a cookie from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eat in at the Pavilion, or take out…Tickets are $15, available at the Tweed News; get yours early to avoid disappointment!  There may be a few tix available ‘day of’…

A special addition this year is a tribute to the late Audrey Ross, local watercolour artist and long-time supporter of Art in the Park, being held in the Pavilion.  It features a video interview with her earlier in 2024, a display of her art, and some paintings that will be offered for sale.
