Marble Arts Centre - Update #8

This spring, one of our members generously planted a hedge of cedar saplings at the MAC property boundary - many thanks to Jim Pederson! We also recently completed some sorely needed scraping, priming and painting of the ground floor windows and front steps at the MAC. This will prevent water damage as well as improving aesthetics. Next on the wish list are enhancement of the sound system, drainage improvements to divert water flow from the roof/driveway away from the building and basic landscaping at the back, and refurbishment of the bell removed from the tower last summer. We are always reviewing potential opportunities for grants from foundations and government programs. Your support through membership, attendance at events/fundraisers, and donations is appreciated.
