The Tweed & Area Arrts Council (T&AAC) is very pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant of $15,300 by the Ontario 150 Capital Program of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The grant, combined with money from the T&AAC, will be used to continue to improve the Marble Arts Centre. Some new lighting will be purchased, a new lighting bar will be manufactured
and installed at the back of the theatre, windows in the theatre will be repaired with caulking and painting on the outside, and improvement to storage areas will be made. These are just a few of
the projects that will be undertaken with the grant, beginning March 1 of this year and ending March 31, 2018.Much of the work will have to scheduled around events taking place in the Marble Arts
Centre. Every year the number of scheduled events increases.
