Tweed &Area Arts Council presents
"Behind the Camera"
with John and Janet Foster

Join us at the Marble Arts Center to enjoy a presentation of the spectacular photography of John and Janet Foster.
Long-time residents of the Tweed area, but recognized internationally for their talent, they have a deep appreciation for Hastings County and what it offers in wildlife and natural habitats.
For the last 40 years they have brought a love of nature to their television documentaries.
In the 1970s, they directed and hosted the CBC series To the Wild Country, and Wild Canada.
By 1987 they had formed their own modest 2 person production company, filming and producing natural science programs for TVOntario, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, and the Discovery Channel. Many of these programs have been broadcast around the world.
In 2005 their nine-part series, Discovering Wild Canada, was broadcast on CBC Newsworld.
